1. Introduction

Axis Platform LLC (“Axis,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a business-to-business procurement platform that connects restaurants and other food-service buyers (“Buyers”) with food distributors and suppliers (“Suppliers”) in Puerto Rico, accessible at axisplatform.co and app.axisplatform.co (the “Service”).

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

The Service is intended for businesses and the individuals who use it on behalf of a business. It is not intended for personal, household, or consumer use, and it is not directed to individuals under the age of 18.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account and business information. When you or your business register, we collect names, business name, business address, email address, phone number, and your role on the platform (Buyer, Supplier, or sales representative/seller).

Catalog and product information. If you are a Supplier, we collect the product, catalog, pricing, and unit information you provide so it can be made available to Buyers on the platform.

Transaction information. We collect information about your activity on the platform, including requests for quotes (RFQs), offers, orders, order history, quantities, delivery details, and payment-timing selections (such as pay-now or net-30 terms).

Payment information. Payment card and bank account details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe, through Stripe’s secure payment interface. Axis never receives or stores your full card number, CVV, or full bank account or routing number. We store only the limited payment references that Stripe returns to us — such as a payment-method token, card brand, the last four digits of the card, card expiration month and year, and a customer identifier — which we use to facilitate your transactions.

Content you provide. This includes photos you upload (such as product or offer images), messages you exchange with other users through the platform, and any business documents you choose to upload.

Limited website analytics. On our public landing pages (not within the logged-in application), we record basic, non-identifying usage events such as page views and interactions with our waitlist form. This data is limited to the page viewed and randomly generated session and visitor identifiers. We do not collect your IP address, device fingerprint, precise location, or browsing activity across other websites on these pages, and we do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers (such as Google Analytics or advertising pixels).

Waitlist information. If you join our waitlist, we collect the name and email address you voluntarily provide.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including creating and managing accounts, facilitating RFQs, offers, orders, and the matching of Buyers and Suppliers;
  • Process and facilitate payments and payment terms through Stripe;
  • Send you service-related communications, such as account confirmation, password recovery, security codes, and team invitations;
  • Respond to your requests and provide customer support;
  • Maintain the security and integrity of the Service and prevent fraud or misuse;
  • Understand and improve how our landing pages and Service are used; and
  • Comply with our legal obligations.

4. How We Share Your Information

We share information in the following limited circumstances:

With other users of the platform, as necessary to provide the Service. Because Axis is a platform that connects Buyers and Suppliers, certain information is shared between them as an inherent part of the Service. For example, when a Supplier submits an offer, the relevant Buyer can see the Supplier’s business information and offer details; and a Supplier receives the order and delivery information needed to fulfill a Buyer’s order.

With service providers (sub-processors) that operate the Service on our behalf. These providers may only process your information to provide services to us and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. They include:

  • Stripe — payment processing, card and bank tokenization, and payouts to Suppliers;
  • Supabase (provided through Lovable Cloud, hosted on Amazon Web Services) — database, authentication, file storage, and related backend infrastructure;
  • Lovable — hosting of our website and application and operation of our transactional email infrastructure on our behalf;
  • Mailgun — delivery of our service emails (such as account and security emails) sent from our domain.

For legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud or enforce our Terms of Service.

In connection with a business transaction. If Axis is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.

5. We Do Not Sell Your Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising or marketing purposes. The only parties who receive your information are the other platform users (as needed to provide the Service) and the service providers who operate the Service on our behalf, as described above.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. We may retain certain information after account closure as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain transaction and financial records, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit, authenticated access controls, and database-level access restrictions. Payment card data is handled directly by Stripe, a PCI-DSS-compliant payment processor, and is never stored on our systems. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Choices and Rights

You may review and update your account and business information through the Service. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by contacting us at the email address below. We will respond to such requests as required by applicable law. Please note that we may need to retain certain information as described in the Data Retention section, and that deleting certain information may limit your ability to use the Service.

9. International Users and Data Location

The Service is operated from and intended for use in Puerto Rico and the United States. Our infrastructure providers store data on servers located in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
